Ashish Deo (Co-Founder)
Ashish is a seasoned Techno-Business professional with over 24 years of global IT/ICT experience, spanning roles from startups to multinational corporations. He has been associated with Japan since 2006 and based in Tokyo since 2011. Throughout his career, he has initiated numerous business ventures aimed at growth and has advised several startups from incubation to scaling and securing funding. Currently, Ashish coaches early-stage business ideas and passionately guides Indian students aspiring for overseas education as a CCCIS. Additionally, he is an active investor in the Indian restaurant Indiyumm, owned by his wife.
Together with Prem, Ashish co-founded IndoJapanPulse, Japan’s most-watched information hub, which serves as a social initiative to provide essential information and bridge connections between India and Japan.
Ashish is also a sports enthusiast, RQ RAAM ultra-cyclist, and co-founder of the Indian Cyclist of Tokyo (ICT) community, which boasts over 100 enthusiastic Indian cyclists. He has completed several marathons and enjoys music, traveling, and camping.
Prem Keswani (Co-Founder)
Prem Keswani (MBA, BE, based in Japan since 2004) is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in Digital Transformation in multiple industries like Retail, Automobiles & Healthcare. He draws his strengths from his extensive experience working & leading teams in Big 4 consulting companies & IT Solutions & Services located in Japan, USA and Europe.
Presently he is working with one of the Big 4 firms with focus on Digital Transformation of Pharma, Medtech, consumer health & Biotech companies and has a strong Kokorozashi to give back to society through his work. His focus areas are Management consulting, Business consulting & Tech consulting in the area of Industry 4.0 innovation in commercial space. In his leisure time, he is an outdoor person with specific interest in camping & playing a lifelong sport of Cricket & making communities around it.
His motivation behind starting IndoJapanPulse together with Ashish is a way to pave the path of Indians specially business persons, students & working professional coming to Japan. It is the initiative to make the information available & accessible to all at one place, so that it becomes easier for the generation coming to Japan here onwards. He wanted to share information which he himself struggled to gather in the beginning to make it easier for others who might need that info.
Anil Raj (Strategic Advisor)
Anil is a serial international entrepreneur. With over a decade in entrepreneurship, today his businesses range from an IT Company, Indian chain of restaurants, an international kindergarten, a variety of Import and Export businesses and more. An ex-techie with 17 years of experience working in international investment banks like Credit Suisse, Dresdner, Japan’s Shinsei Bank and Citi Bank. He holds an M.S. in Information Technology.
After obtaining his MS in IT from an Australian University, he moved to Indonesia to work for an Indonesian bank as an IT specialist. In 1998, he shifted to Japan to work for Credit Suisse, and has worked for other well-known American, European and Japanese Banks there. In 2005, Anil took the plunge into entrepreneurship, and has achieved much since. His company, RAJGROUP, founded in 2005, is based in Tokyo, Japan. He is also CEO of NehaN Technologies K.K.
He is well connected with IndoJapanPulse since its inception and has been guiding, advising as well as supporting various activities that IndoJapanPulse conduct.
