IndoJapanPulseunder IMPACT series, introduces you Initiators of SAS-Sarveswara Arts & Sports Club. 

SAS Club – Started approx 10 years ago, a Sports Club passionate for sports like Badminton, Volleyball & Futsal along with social causes, started with Kerala members and then expanded to members coming from all parts of India in Japan.

 

IndoJapanPulse is thankful to Abhilash, Ajay, Udayraj, Shrikumar, and Tiby respectively for sharing their interesting journey right from how the name of the club came about, why and how it started, expanded, social cause and how it`s impacting and became an integral part of social life. Also how as a community member you as a whole family can be part of them?

 

In the interview, we found them very honest, grounded, humble and leading successfully a large group of players and striving to support the community here in Japan. They also gave a shout out and gave credit to other key members too without whom, the club would not have reached where it is today.

, compare it with other countries sports communities like In United State which was an interesting take on the importance of sports club in Japan which is not a religion-centric country. They talk about key dates of the tournament in the year and how you can be part of it. This can be very useful for you.

SAS Club is now just a group of few interested in sports but its a big family, a Club that cares for the socialization of Indians at Japan, importantly their activities through SAS Care creating a major impact to those who are in need.
