Where to see autumn leaves this weekend ? 3 Places for this weekend for Autumn Leaves
If we refer to 2018 forecast for Autumn Leaves colors at it`s peak, Japan as of 7th Nov, would look like following.
Tokyo is still green and slowly turning into yellow/other colors, but if you want to chase autumn, go either towards Fuji or towards Nikko.
Where to go ?
Following 3 well know but reliable places “would” not disappoint you if you want to see Autumn colors.
First one is good for public transport like trains/bus connections and later 2 would be more enjoyable if you hit the roads.
1. Mount Takao : Mid to late November
2. Nikko : Early October to mid November
3. Fuji Five lakes : Late October to mid November
