Dear Friends,

Today the Indian population of Japan and Particularly in the vicinity of Tokyo has increased by leaps and bounds , and the Japanese people too has finally come around to realizing that the nation of India has something more to offer to the society.

Every year HSS Japan Team members assemble together to celebrate Diwali a festivals of lights, a festivals which commemorates the victory of goods over evil, and at such gathering the number of Indian runs into several thousands.

HSS Japan team is also excited to share the invitation and highlights of “Deepotsav 2018”, an authentic Diwali celebrations for the entire family!

Event details:
Date & time: Nov-10, 16:30 to 20:00
Venue: Dinosaur park, Nishi-Kasai, Edogawa-Ku, Tokyo.
Access: 2 mins walk from Nishi-Kasai station, South exit

Highlights:
1. Ravan Dahan (along with light crackers) – for the first time during such a large public gathering!
2. ~5000 candles decorated by various Indian & Japanese groups with diverse cultural background in an open park
3. Hundreds of kids designing own lamps
4. Ladies & other art lovers exhibiting colorful art of Rangoli
5. Artists performing traditional Indian and Japanese dances and playing on classical musical instruments
6. Mouthwatering Diwali special Indian dishes (All veg)
7. Taiko – Japanese drums
8. Karate show by Japanese kids
9. Fuljhadi finale!!

Note: There is no entrance fee but there will be nominal fee (~100 JPY) for designing personal lamp.
