Expedia vacation based survey has discovered that India is the most vacation deprived country in the world, with Indian workers not utilising all of their vacation days and ending up being ranked behind Japan, Italy, Australia and New Zealand in this regard.

A survey last year by Expedia Japan shows 22 percent of Japanese office workers look at work emails all day even when on vacation. It was the highest among the 30 countries and regions that took part. Some Japanese companies are now making efforts to try to change their work culture.
