Men In Blue (MIB) Cricket Club

In the last post about cricket, we talked about the Girls cricket team. This time we are bringing in what MIB is up to and what has been their achievements from the time of their inception.

Following are some achievements by  Men In Blue (MIB) Cricket Club which is Under Japan Cricket Association (Country body of ICC) playing below tournaments:

• Winner of T20 East Kanto Japan cup 2016, 2017, 2018 Consecutive 3 years
• Champions of JAPAN Cup National shield winner.
• Runners-up of Division 2 JCL 2018 and Semi-Finalist of Division 3 JCL 2018 Match ( 40 overs a side match ) – This is first-year entry for our club
• Winner of SBI Cricket corporate tournament 2018 (tennis ball format) under Orion Shuzai Banner.
• Runners-up of Champions trophy 2018 (tennis ball format)
• Junior Team ( Kids ) are also doing great and won many trophies
  • Cricket Blast Challenge 2017
  • Yokohama School Cup 2016
  • Japan Cricket U15 Div2 Champions 2018

• They are Organizing Tokyo Premier League since last 10 years in Japan in Edogawa and trying their best to promote cricket culture in Japan.
• The whole year they play the weekend game with a tennis ball in Koiwa ground, Edogawa without fail and many Indian community members are joining to stay fit
