Kobe City in Hyogo Prefecture is one of Japan’s prominent port towns. The city is known for the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the old foreign settlement, where many Western-style buildings still remain. Its large Indian community has also built some gorgeous temples there. A grand festival of Indian culture is held in Kobe every year.
