2019 International Essay Contest for Youth People organised by the Goi Peace Foundation
In an effort to harness the energy, creativity and initiative of the world’s youth in promoting a culture of peace and sustainable development, the Goi Peace Foundation, Tokyo is organizing ‘2019 International Essay Contest for Young People’. Essays may be submitted by anyone up to 25 years old (as of June 15, 2019) in one of the following categories:
a)Children (ages up to 14) b) Youth (ages 15-25)
The theme for the 2019 Contest is “Creating a Society Full of Kindness”. The following awards will be given in the Children’s category and Youth category respectively:
1st Prize: Certificate, prize of 100,000 Yen (approx. US $900 as of February 2019) and gift to 1 entrant
2nd Prize: Certificate, prize of 50,000 Yen (approx. US$450 as of February 2019) and gift to 2 entrants
3rd Prize: Certificate and gift to 5 entrants
Honorable Mention: Certificate and gift to 25 entrants.

Essay-Contest-2019EFor your information, in 2017 and 2018 contest Indians were adjudged first [Neha Rawat (Youth Category) in 2017 and Shreenabh Moujesh Agrawal (Children Category) in 2018] and were invited to Japan for receiving the Award. Apart from that, many Indian students Essays had Honorable mention.
