Face of New Horizons for nurses in India, to support elderly care in Japan !
A slow change has started to happen in the area of elderly care & Nursing Care in Japan and India has a role to play. Till now Indians coming to Japan were mostly related to IT Industry, students/researchers, businesses like gems/pearls/diamonds, importers of Indian foods/groceries, in the restaurant industry and few in vehicles/real estate. TITP is a new area, a new horizon through which new set of sectors can open for our young Indians who want to come to Japan and pursue their careers in the fields like Construction, Elderly care, Manufacturing, fisheries, farming and more.
What happened?
Last week, IndoJapanPulse reported that TITP program is about to start from April 1st officially and companies in Japan & India were already working on this and were preparing students to train them in Japanese and specific skills to Nursing and Elderly care.
First 2 intern nurses, Nagarani and Veena came via Bangalore based, Navis Human Resources, to Japan on March 13th in Kansai area and we expect more to come. These 2 women mark the new face of India`s participation in elederly care in Japan.
We confirm that NAVIS Human resources is one of the 22 companies marked as Sending Organization.
How?
As per their info, the First Batch received Japanese language Training from July 2, 2018, and passed N3 in just 5 Months. (Reaching up to the level of N3 in 5 months is a big claim which we are in the process of confirming). 5 Months might sound a bit less for people who have lived in Japan but the focus is on the balance of basic language and vocational skills.
They also underwent “Nursing Practical Training Program” from a NAVIS Teacher who is a Japanese Nurse, making them possible to communicate in a Nursing Care Environment, and also received High Appreciation from a Nursing Care Home Visitor from Japan.
Their program is to impact Japanese training to qualified nurses.
Their Partner facility of #SECOM is the Receiving Organization in Japan and in future, the Intern Trainees who acquired Nursing skills in Japan will be able to aim to work at #SAKRAWORLDHOSPITAL by SECOM in case if they return to India. NAVIS “MEGURU” creates a Global Career path from India to Japan through talent skill Improvement.
Great Start!
This is definitely a great start and opens up a new avenue for youngsters in India who have interest and ready to hustle in this area. Also in the long term, the experience they gain here can be surely be utilized back in Indian and in turn raises the quality of geriatrics in India too.
To be monitored in future too!
What needs to be seen and monitored is that the interns coming through this program are treated fine, paid fairly and they return back with some gained skills. Interns from other countries have reported some cases where this was not the case. We wish the best luck for this new venture taken up by our youngsters and plan to stand in support with them.
