JLPT Dec 2020 – Points you must know before you apply

JLPT applications started for Dec 2020, but the authorities clearly inform that “Due to the influence of COVID-19, it has become extremely difficult guaranteeing test site for the 2nd JLPT.”

<Application period>

September 4 (Fri) – September 17 (Thu), 2020 (-17:00)

One need to keep following points in mind once applying for JLPT 2020 Dec.

● The test site may be different from the one you want such as one in a distant prefecture in your test area.
● If there is a request from the government to cancel the test, the test may be canceled by test area or test site unit.
● If the test site will be unable to use because of COVID-19 and the authorities can’t find a new test site, some of the examinees may not be able to take the test.

If those things happen, they will update their website, so please check their website regularly. Your test fee will be refunded when the test is canceled.
