Summer Itch for climbing
Come July, August and the itch of climbing mountains start in japan. There are four trails to climb Mount Fuji. Which one is good for you ? Have a looks at info below and it will help you discover which one suits you.

FOUR TRAILS:

The Yoshida Trail, recommended for beginners, attracted 172,657 people in 2017, with 14 mountain lodges available between stations seven and eight-and-a-half.

Subashiri Trail, which had 23,475 climbers, allows trekkers to see rich forest scenery on the way up, and is less crowded than Yoshida.

Fujinomiya Trail, the shortest trail, attracted 70,319 people, but the rising sun can’t be appreciated around areas lower than the new seventh station because of the course of the trail.

The Gotenba Trail, used by 18,411 climbers, tends not to be as busy as the Yoshida trail, but is more suited for experienced climbers as there are only four mountain lodges after the seventh station.

Preps:

We recommend proper clothing posted in another article earlier before you jump on to this trek because it become cold out there, can rain abruptly and the mountain is full of gravels(Volcanic eruption cooled down lava remains :))

If you have trekked in the past in some form or the other, you might take a chance. If not, then better practice climbing lower height mountain earlier like Mt.Takao, Mt.Mitake (different terrain though), but if you have the time, it will help you check your ability and help gauge how much more you need to prepare. But definitely, we have heard stories of people making it in the first shot itself just with a sheer passion of climbing :). Also, we have heard the story of people who got over adventurous. You don`t know which category you fall into till you climb this beautiful wonder of nature.
