– Imported(Japanese who came back from other countries and also non-Japanese coming back from other countries) have increased. They have also given a breakup of community spread and imported spread and also predicted the numbers till mid April. Hence cluster traceability decreasing. Can we contain the over-shoot is being investigated now

– Avoid some specific places which have become source of infection. Youngsters avoid Karaoke, Parties. Middle Ages avoid Bars, Nighclubs and any other entertainment.

– Continue avoiding going out in nights and extend this request for weekend too.

– Always avoid these 3 points which are bad Ventilated places , crowded place & communication in close proximity which have been found source of infection.

– 500 beds availability, can be ramped upto 4000. Mild cases, can be quarantined at home.

So as it appeared in the press conference, Japan government task force is tracking daily data of community and imported cases separately along with their origin/sources as much as possible. The decisions are being based on calculated capacity they have to manage against the numbers being reported.

So, to residents in Japan, who are looking at strict lockdowns across the world and number appearing to be growing in Tokyo too (13 cases today is an exception again) making them impatient that “why the government is not taking an extreme step ?” Or “Why are they now doing a lockdown ?”. However, it seems government are going purely by numbers and analytics and trying to manage without disrupting the daily lives of people as much as possible. Is this method correct or wrong ? Only time will tell.

Another point always discussed is the test numbers are less but the health ministry has already said they are doing this deliberately and in accordance with WHO directive of not to test people without symptoms and keep system available for the real patients which might come up in the spike.
